Prokeep Release Notes for January 16, 2026 The following updates were released to production over the first two weeks of January


Email Communication

    • Full Thread Context in Email Replies: Email recipients now receive complete conversation context with proper attribution and quoted original messages, matching standard email client behavior and making it easier to follow conversation threads.
    • Dynamic Thread Participant Management: Full control over email recipients means you can add or remove contacts from TO, CC, and BCC fields at any point in a conversation, matching standard email client behavior.
  • Updated Automated Email Sender: The sender address for automated system emails (e.g., password resets, reports) has been changed to <no-reply@prokeep.com>, which reduces confusion for customers and prevents automated responses from cluttering the support team's queue.
  • Clearer Broadcast Text Labels: Contact-level and export field labels were updated to "Informational Broadcast Text Messages," providing clear and consistent terminology across the application to eliminate confusion about broadcast types.

Growth Hub

    • Redesigned List Management Interface: A complete visual redesign of the list creation and editing interface, including breadcrumb navigation, delivers a more intuitive experience, clearer visual hierarchy, and polished design consistency for list management.
    • Enhanced Contact Import Error Display: The contact import process is streamlined with clear, specific error messages that help you quickly identify and fix issues like missing values or invalid formats.
  • Accurate Engagement Trend Analysis: Period-over-period change calculations in the Growth Hub dashboard have been fixed, providing meaningful trend analysis that enables users to make data-driven decisions about their engagement strategies.
  • Accurate Broadcast Audience Count: Fixed a bug where managers saw inflated "Target All Contacts" counts in broadcast text messages; the system now correctly respects group-level access restrictions for accurate audience numbers.
  • Fixed Campaign Task Editing: Editing a task within a campaign now correctly updates the existing task, resolving a bug that previously led to the incorrect creation of accidental bulk tasks.
  • Precise Task Name Filtering: Task name filtering now uses exact string matching instead of fuzzy matching, making task searches more precise and predictable when working with similarly-named tasks.
  • Task Table Scrolling for Small Screens: Added horizontal scrolling to the tasks table, ensuring users on smaller screens or laptops can access all columns, including the actions column, for full task management functionality.
  • Improved Contact Import Layouts: The entire contact import process was redesigned across all steps (upload, validation, and review), resulting in a more intuitive user flow, clearer visual design, and professional, polished appearance.

Order Automation & Integrations

  • P21 Fulfillment Notes Sync: Fulfillment notes entered in Prokeep are now automatically synchronized to P21 as delivery instructions, ensuring that warehouse and fulfillment teams receive complete, error-free order context without manual data transfer.
  • P21 Address Autofill (Phase 1): Implemented the first phase of P21 address autofill, automatically fetching the default customer address upon opening the quote editor to make quote creation faster and more accurate by eliminating manual entry.
  • P21 Order Approval Configuration: You can now configure whether orders created through Prokeep are automatically marked as "approved" in P21, providing flexibility to match your internal approval workflows.
  • Enhanced Webhook Payload: Integration partners receive complete sender and recipient contact information in real-time message notifications, enabling more sophisticated integration logic.
  • Fixed Quote Notifications in Broadcast Channels
    Resolved a critical bug where Order Automation requests in broadcast channels failed to generate checkout links, ensuring customers now receive quotes with working checkout links regardless of the channel type.
  • Fixed Email Quote Delivery
    Resolved issues with sending system messages that contain quote links to email-only contacts, ensuring reliable quote delivery via email across all communication channels and contact types.
  • Fixed P21 Line Item Error
    A validation error with line item formatting was fixed, ensuring that orders submit successfully to P21 without unexpected failures or authentication errors during order creation.
  • Fixed Inbound Email Processing
    Fixed an issue that caused inbound emails to fail processing due to nil values, ensuring reliable inbound email processing and preventing silent failures or dropped messages.
  • Corrected Quote Channel Selection
    Resolved an issue where outbound quotes were incorrectly sent through disabled channels; the system now respects channel enablement settings, ensuring quotes are delivered via the correct, enabled channel (SMS or email).

Platform & User Experience

  • Lazy Client Updates: Updates are now user-controlled. You can continue your active work and choose when to update to a new version, eliminating disruptive interruptions.
  • Reliable Microsoft Email Delivery
    Critical issues with Microsoft Graph API email channel subscription renewals were fixed, ensuring reliable and continuous email delivery for Microsoft 365 shared mailboxes without silent failures or missed customer communications.
  • WebSocket Monitoring
    Added an internal monitoring dashboard and telemetry tracking for WebSocket connections, which allows the engineering team to proactively identify and resolve connectivity issues for more stable real-time updates.

Enterprise Integrations & Partnerships

  • Internal Messages REST API
    A new API endpoint allows external partners (e.g., Decisiv) to programmatically send fully contextual internal messages to Prokeep groups, enabling seamless workflow automation and proper audit trails for integrated communications.
  • Enhanced Webhook Data
    The message_received webhook payload now includes complete sender and recipient contact and group information, eliminating the need for partners to make additional API calls to get message context.
  • Conversation PDF Generation
    Backend infrastructure for generating PDF transcripts of conversation threads was implemented, laying the groundwork for providing customers with professional, shareable documents for record-keeping and compliance.

These stability and usability fixes ensure smoother workflows and accurate data.

Order Automation

  • Order Automation requests to broadcast channels now correctly generate checkout links.
  • Outbound quotes are now reliably sent through the correct, enabled channel (SMS or email), respecting group settings.
  • Quote delivery via email is now reliable for contacts without phone numbers.
  • P21 orders submit successfully without line item validation errors, and inbound emails process reliably without failures.

Growth Hub & Tasks

  • The Growth Hub dashboard now provides meaningful trend analysis with correct period-over-period change calculations for engagement metrics.
  • Broadcast audience counts for users with limited group access are now accurate, showing only contacts within their assigned groups.
  • Task editing in campaigns now correctly updates the existing task instead of creating accidental bulk tasks.
  • Task filtering by name now returns only the specific task selected, not similar names.
  • Horizontal scrolling is now available on the tasks table for users on smaller screens.

General Platform

  • Email delivery is now more reliable for Microsoft 365 shared mailboxes, preventing silent email delivery failures.
  • Opt-out confirmation messages are now properly sent when contacts reply with "X" to automated messages.
  • Opted-out emails are no longer selectable in the forward message interface, and blocked contacts are prevented from being selected for collection payment requests.
  • Users in dark mode can now see and use scrollbars in email threads.
  • Users can now read full rule conditions via tooltips, even when the text is too lengthy to display fully.
