Mandatory 10DLC Industry Regulations Compliance

10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) industry regulations changed on February 1, 2025. Please read below to learn how to be compliant.

As of February 1, 2025, all businesses using SMS for business are required to have a Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions information in the footer of their website. These can either be links OR clearly labeled statements in the footer of your website. Numbers NOT on an approved 10DLC campaign will have ALL messaging blocked until Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions compliance has been followed. When we register your campaign, it goes through a vetting process, which includes examining whether the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions are present and whether they adhere to these standards. Campaign approval can take up to 14 business days.

If you need assistance or have questions about this requirement, please don't hesitate to contact our support team. This is mandatory to be able to send text messages through your Prokeep-enabled number, so we want to ensure this process is as clear and easy as possible.

Privacy Policy Information:

An acceptable Privacy Policy must clearly explain how consumer data will be used and shared (if applicable), and how consumers can contact the message sender. Specifically, consent and opt-out instructions for text messaging need to be addressed. To successfully fulfill these requirements, we recommend the below "Wording for Compliance."

Consent: Businesses do not have the consumers’ consent to share end-user data with third parties for marketing purposes. While it is okay for a business to share end-user data essential for business operations, the fundamental practice of sharing data to sell consumer information to third parties is prohibited. This campaign type will be rejected.

Opt-out Instructions: The policy must state that it is the consumer’s right to opt out of a messaging campaign and include instructions on how to do so.

Wording for Compliance:

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties. If you wish to be removed from receiving future communications, you can opt out by texting STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT-OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.

Terms & Conditions Information:

Acceptable Terms & Conditions must detail the terms under which users engage with your services. Terms & Conditions must have an SMS disclosure that includes the type of messages consumers can expect to receive, texting cadence, message and data rate notices, privacy policy links, HELP & STOP information, and opt-out instructions.

Wording for Compliance:
