12/17/2024 Release 3.96 Updates

Release Notes for Prokeep v3.96 outlining several notable UX updates enhancing usability, big updates for Conversation Hub, Broadcast Text, JIT SSO, and Integrations, too!

Recurring Broadcast Text Message

Users can now schedule Broadcast Text Messages for recurring daily, weekly, and monthly delivery.

Scheduling Recurring

Recurring BTMs are identified with iconography and also provide visibility into the upcoming delivery schedule.

Recurring BTMs are great for a variety of regularly sent messages, including outbound delivery truck updates, branch holiday closings, sale and promotional reminders, new product introductions and reminders, event reminders/updates, and more!

Enabling Customer Feedback Per Group (Beta Only):

Customer Feedback Beta group participants now have the ability to enable the feature for select groups. Previously, enabling the feature would enable it for all groups in an account, meaning that customers across all groups would be prompted for feedback when conversation threads were closed. This update provides the ability to be more selective with which groups should have the feature enabled.

JIT SSO Enhancements

Long asked for and finally delivered, we have created a version of Just in Time SSO that is productized!

What is Just in Time SSO? Just-in-time SSO requires users to be entirely managed by their identity provider (Microsoft, Google, etc).  Users are created in Prokeep automatically as they attempt to login. For example, if you have ever signed up for a website with your Google account - you’ve used Just In Time SSO!

Didn’t we already have this?

We have had a productized Basic SSO for a while, meaning that users still need to be managed by both Prokeep and the identity provider. With this change, our Technical Account Manager will be able to set up JIT for anyone who needs it. Additionally, we will be able to test and support our SSO customers more efficiently.

What about customers who already have JIT?

This is an entirely new JIT SSO flow, so customers who are currently on custom JIT will not be affected and will maintain their current login experience and behavior.

Cool! Where can I get more details?

Minor UX Changes to Inbox:

Unclaimed Tab

Previously the first tab of the Prokeep inbox was “Inbox”, so users had to go to Inbox > Inbox to access one of our main functions. Other sections of the app refer to the messages in this inbox tab as “Unclaimed” messages, so we have changed the name of this tab to “Unclaimed”.

Close Button Inside Thread

Many users do not close threads, so after reviewing with customers and conducting A/B testing we have added another close button that is more visible.
