07/28/2026 Release Update

The following updates were released to production on July 28, 2026.

NEW

Order Automation

External ID field now viewable and editable on contact and company cards
Contact and company detail pages now show an External ID field that any user with Order Automation access can view, though only admins can edit it, and every change is recorded in the audit log.

Quotes can now be sent by email to contacts with no phone number
Outbound quotes can now be sent by email when a contact has no phone number on file. If a contact has neither a phone number nor an email address, a clear error message explains what's missing.

IMPROVED

Order Automation

🚀 Default Required Date on new orders is now today instead of 60 days out
The default Required Date on new orders is now today's date instead of 60 days out, for both inbound and outbound orders.

Enterprise Integrations

🚀 CDK Drive sync frequency updated
CDK Drive parts order syncing now runs once daily instead of continuously, and contact syncing has moved to a monthly, one-way refresh from CDK Drive into Prokeep. Contact edits made in Prokeep no longer sync back to CDK Drive.

FIXED

Order Automation

🔧 Orders can no longer be placed for contacts missing a required External ID
When an account requires contacts to have an External ID, it's no longer possible to place an order for a contact that's missing one.

🔧 Creating a quote before claiming its thread now works correctly
Starting a quote from a message before claiming its thread now works correctly, with the contact and company filled in automatically.

🔧 Adding items to a quote no longer causes an error
Adding a line item to a quote, whether manually or through a product recommendation, no longer triggers an error.

🔧 Image-based product search now shows an alert when no matches are found
Users now see a clear message when searching for products from an image turns up no matches, instead of being stuck repeating the same search with no explanation.

🔧 Margin percentage no longer changes unexpectedly after a quote is sent
Adding a new line item to a quote that had already been sent no longer changes the margin percentage on the existing items.

🔧 Margin indicator now shows the correct color at the maximum ideal margin
The margin color indicator now correctly displays green when a margin is set to the maximum ideal percentage, matching how it already worked for the minimum.

Prokeep

🔧 Viewing or editing a deleted company no longer causes a crash
Viewing, editing, updating, or deleting a company that had already been removed no longer causes a crash — it now shows a clear not-found message.

🔧 Adding a company to a contact no longer clears existing company details
In the manage contacts settings page, adding a company to a contact no longer clears out company information that was already entered.

🔧 Simultaneous inbound text messages now process correctly
When several text messages from the same contact arrived at nearly the same time, they could previously fail to process. This no longer happens.

🔧 Task creation now requires the correct contact method for text and email tasks
Creating tasks from a contact list no longer allows contacts without a mobile number to be added to text message tasks, or contacts without an email address to be added to email tasks. The task creation summary now accurately reports how many contacts were skipped and why.

🔧 Email intake crashes and miscategorized messages resolved
Fixed crashes that could occur during email processing when multiple stored messages matched, and fixed a case where an outbound email being copied back to its own sending address was miscategorized as a new incoming message.

🔧 "Print All Threads" now includes full conversation history
Printing all threads for a contact now includes the full conversation history instead of stopping at the most recent 50 threads.

🔧 Tooltips no longer get stuck open
Sidebar tooltips no longer occasionally remain visible on screen after the pointer has moved away.
