How to Set up & Send a Broadcast Message:
- Log into your Prokeep account.
- Click the Broadcast icon on the sidebar.
- Click ‘Create A Broadcast’ in the top right corner of the Broadcast Text Messages dashboard.
- Select "Promotional Broadcast" for marketing-related Broadcasts or "Informational Broadcast" for general updates that do not have commercial intent.
- Select the Broadcast Line/Sender for this message
- Give the Broadcast Message a name
Adding Recipients to Your Selected Audience
- Click "Edit" next to the Recipients section to start building your audience.

Contacts can be included in the broadcast audience through various methods:
- Contacts Tab: Add contacts individually.
- Broadcast Lists Tab: Add all contacts belonging to a previously built and saved Broadcast List.
- Group Lists Tab: Add all contacts belonging to specific groups
- Labels Tab: Add a group of contacts by selecting their assigned contact label
- Or, use the ‘Target All Contacts’ switch to quickly add all available contacts to your audience.
The ‘Selected Audience’ tab displays the individual contacts, groups, and companies included in your Broadcast audience.
- The Reachable Audience displays the contacts you can reach as you add them, offering valuable insights into how many contacts are included in your broadcast and highlighting those who have opted out.
- Once your audience is finalized, select "Save and continue"
Composing a Broadcast Message
- To compose a Broadcast Text Message, click "Edit" next to the Message section
- In the 'Message Text' box, type out your message.
- To attach a file, click the paper clip icon below the text box. Browse for the file you want to add and select it.

Supported File Types and Size Limits:
- PDF(5 MB limit)
- .doc(5 MB limit)
- .xlsx(5 MB limit)
- PNG(~2.0MB limit, depending on carrier)
- JPEG(~2.0MB limit, depending on carrier)

- Once your message is ready, click 'Save and Continue.'
- Confirm permission to text the contacts within your audience before selecting either 'Schedule' or 'Send Now'
Scheduling the Broadcast Text Message allows you to plan ahead by scheduling a specific date and time for your message to be sent!
