Learn how to gain valuable performance insights for your Broadcast Text Messages, including send and failure rate and link interaction.
Quick Stats at-a-Glance
In the table of sent broadcasts, you'll find these quick-view stats:
- Sent On: The date and time when the broadcast was sent.
- Recipients: The total number of contacts eligible to receive your message.
- Responded: The number of people who replied to the broadcast. These replies can be viewed in your inbox.
- Unsubscribed: The number of contacts who opted out by replying STOP. You can also view response and unsubscribe rates with controls that let you toggle between actual numbers (#) and percentages (%).
Dig Deeper into Your Metrics

To view more in-depth statistics for a particular broadcast, simply click on the chart icon located to the right of the broadcast name. This action will display a detailed fly-out containing valuable insights:

Recipients: The total number of contacts eligible to receive your message.
- Sent: The percentage and number of contacts the message was successfully sent to.

Failed: Messages that couldn’t be delivered (you’ll also see the reason if provided by the carrier).

Reasons A Message Might Fail

Sending messages to numbers that cannot accept them

Carrier delivery issues: Either our carrier partner or the service providers (Verizon, ATT, etc.) encountered issues transmitting the message.

Invalid phone number entry (a typo in the phone number)

- Responded: Contacts who replied to your message.
- Unsubscribed: Contacts who opted out by replying STOP.

Link Interaction: When links are added to a message, as described above, the number of clicks and click-through rate will be presented.
Clicking any of these categories will show you the specific contacts and additional details.
Broadcast Text Message Excel Export
The Excel export allows you to take a deep dive into your Broadcast Text Messaging usage.
How to Export the Excel
Select Broadcast Text from your menu and look for the "Export Excel" button in the top right-hand corner.
Once clicked, you'll be given the option to select the Broadcast (s) you'd like to view and click Submit.
Overview of the Excel Export
This report includes visibility into how many contacts received your message, responded, clicked on links, unsubscribed, and the number of messages that failed.
Contact Data Included in Broadcast Text Message Exports
Selecting "Include Contact Data in Export" will include visibility into which contacts received your message, who responded, who clicked on links, who unsubscribed, and even which messages failed to deliver.
When contact data is included in the export, additional tabs for each BTM will be included.
This gives you greater flexibility for analysis and reporting, making it easier to track engagement and optimize your messaging!
