Prokeep DDI Order Notification Integration Guide

The Prokeep DDI Order Notification Integration, developed by DDI Systems, provides distributors with a seamless solution to automate text messages sent to customers upon order readiness for pickup.

User Story and Details

As a Distributor, you can now effortlessly send customers automated text messages notifying them when their orders are ready for pickup.

Known Limits

  • Messages are only sent for Pick-Up orders.
  • The template cannot be edited: "Order Ready for Pickup: Your [Account] package with [Products]"
  • Order contacts must have a valid mobile number set as "Sales" contact type.

How to Use

Once the integration is set up, messages will automatically send for orders meeting the following criteria:

  • The Ship Via option for the order is set to Pick Up.
  • The Sales Contact for the order has a valid mobile number.
  • The order status is set to Ready.

Integration Set Up

Setting up the integration is straightforward. Here are the steps:

  1. Contact Prokeep Customer Success Manager:
    • Reach out to your Prokeep Customer Success Manager.
    • They will provide you with the properly formatted API key and your account ID number.
  2. Entering Credentials in DDI:
    • As a DDI admin, go to File → Company → SMS Control.

  • Select "Prokeep SMS" from the SMS Provider dropdown.
  • Enter the Prokeep Account ID and Prokeep API Key provided by your Prokeep Customer Success Manager.
  • Enter a phone number associated with a Prokeep Group on your account (include "1" before the ten-digit number and omit dashes and parentheses).

  • Click Save when done.
