Learn how to generate and manage API keys in Prokeep to integrate with external systems securely.
To create an API key in Prokeep, follow the steps below. You must have API access enabled for your account. If you're unsure whether your account includes API access, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Security Note: API keys are the equivalent of admin passwords. Keep them secure and avoid sharing. We recommend cycling (rotating) them periodically.

Steps to Create an API Key:

Go to Settings > API > Generate Application.

Name your application (e.g., Eclipse Order Notifications).

Click Generate Credentials.

Save the credentials somewhere secure and accessible later.

Click Confirm.
