Step 1: Add Prokeep as a Desktop Icon
The first step to simplifying your login is creating a desktop shortcut to your account. Select your browser get set up.
Google Chrome Instructions - Saving Prokeep as a Desktop Icon
- Log into Prokeep from Chrome.
- Click the Chrome menu - Three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner of Chrome.
- Click "Cast, Save and Share."
- Click "Create Shortcut."
- Click "Create."

Mozilla Firefox Instructions - Saving Prokeep as a Desktop Icon
- Log into Prokeep from Firefox.
- Resize your Firefox window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen.
- Click and drag the lock icon to your desktop. This creates your desktop icon with a default name and web icon. You can rename it by right clicking the icon and selecting 'rename.'

Microsoft Edge Instructions - Saving Prokeep as a Desktop Icon
- Log into Prokeep from Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser window
- Select “More tools” from the drop-down menu.
- Choose whether to pin it to your taskbar or your desktop start menu.
- You should now see the icon on your toolbar or startup menu.

Step 2: Auto Open Prokeep Upon Startup
Windows and Mac allow applications, such as Prokeep, to automatically open upon startup. After you add Prokeep as a desktop icon, choose your Operating System and follow the set-up steps.
Windows - Auto Open Upon Startup:
- Right-click the Prokeep icon on your desktop, select "More," and then select "Open file location." This opens the location where the shortcut for Prokeep is saved.
- With the file location open, press the "Windows logo key + R," type "shell:startup," then select "OK." This opens the Startup folder.
- Drag and drop the Prokeep desktop icon(created earlier) from your desktop into the startup folder.
- From here, Prokeep will open automatically upon every startup.
Mac - Auto Open Upon Startup:
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings>General>Login Items.
- Click the + button on the "Open at Login" list in the lower left corner
- Select Desktop from the left panel, then click Prokeep>Open.
