Automate Your Prokeep Daily Login

This article reviews the two steps required to automate the Prokeep login process to save you time each morning and ensure that you do not miss any messages.

Step 1: Add Prokeep as a Desktop Icon

Saving Prokeep as a desktop icon makes the login process much easier. Once saved, all you need to do is double click the ProKeep icon on your desktop and you will be automatically signed into the platform. To save Prokeep as a desktop icon, please select the browser you are using:

Google Chrome

Mozilla Firefox

Microsoft Edge 

 

 

Google Chrome Instructions - Saving Prokeep as a Desktop Icon

  • Log into your Prokeep profile within Chrome.
  • Click Menu - Three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner of Chrome.

  •  Click "More Tools."

  • Click "Create Shortcut."

  • Click "Create."

  • You can now double-click on the Prokeep icon to automatically log into Prokeep. If you would like Prokeep to automatically open upon startup, follow the link here.

 

 

Mozilla Firefox Instructions - Saving Prokeep as a Desktop Icon

  • Log into your Prokeep profile within Firefox.
  • Resize your Firefox window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen.

  • Log into your Prokeep profile within Microsoft Edge.
  • Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser window Untitled design (21)

  • From there you can choose whether to pin it to your taskbar or your desktop start menu. Untitled design (24)
  • You should now see the icon on your toolbar or startup menu.  Untitled design (23)

Step 2: Auto Open Prokeep Upon Startup

Windows and Mac allow applications, such as Prokeep, to automatically open upon startup. First, you must follow the instructions above to add Prokeep as a desktop icon. Next, to set Prokeep to auto-open upon startup, please follow the steps below based on your Operating System:

Windows - Auto Open Upon Startup:

  • Right-click the Prokeep icon on your desktop, select "More," and then select "Open file location." This opens the location where the shortcut for Prokeep is saved.
  • With the file location open, press the "Windows logo key + R," type "shell:startup," then select "OK." This opens the Startup folder.
  • Drag and drop the Prokeep desktop icon(created earlier) from your desktop into the startup folder.
  • From here, Prokeep will open automatically upon every startup.

 

Mac - Auto Open Upon Startup:

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups.
  • Select your user account, then click Login Items at the top of the window.

  • Add a login item: Click the Add button below the list of items, select a document, folder, app, server, or another item, then click Add.
